In general, if users throw too much tissue inside the toilet, it would be very difficult to flush out by water and causing toilet blockage. In worst condition, this could affecting the building drainage systems! Hereby, Pulppy invited a Local University to help us studying the flushability of the drainage system and try to finding some suitable solution for Hong Kong’s Toilet flushing system in Y2015.

According to the research result, the report indicates there are three potential attributes that most likely result a blockage in drainage systems, including the Design of drainage system, Human behavior and Dispersion of toilet paper. The research also defined that Pulppy Tissue is the easiest one to be dispersion in the water compared with others tissue sample used in the 1:1 water flushing model experiment. Tissue with high dispersion rate in water could be effectively improve the flushability of the drainage system especially for old buildings with blockage problems, and hence reduce the opportunity of causing blockage problem.
